Independent bar tending

I believe dive bar bar tending is the pinnacle of all bar tenders careers. We’re sassy, and bad ass. We do everything ourselves. It’s sink or swim. But if you’re good, you can make a killing while being salty to customers. The ownership/management allows each individual to thrive and build their own clientele while also being creative with drinks, specials, etc. I’ve been bar tending for over 15 years and unless I leave the industry, I wouldn’t leave this position ever.
